Russia got 17th gold at Tokyo Olympics: latest for wrestler Sidakov


 The Russian, Zaurbek Sidakov, gave his country the 17th gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, by defeating the representative of Belarus, Muhammad Habib, in the final match of the Roman wrestling in the weight of 74 kg.

The Russian champion beat his Belarusian opponent, who won the silver 7-0.

The bronze medal went to Kyle Dick and Bekzod Abdurahmanov of Uzbekistan.

Thanks to this medal, Russia rose to fifth place in the medals board at the Tokyo Olympics, with 62 medals, 17 gold, 23 silver, and 22 bronze.
